Quepos is Costa Rica’s sport fishing capital & our international reputation is growing. Sailfish are available year round but are most abundant November through April. During this period you will be thrilled with 15 to 20 bites per day! Fly fishermen take note, this is the time to catch your sailfish on the fly. Marlin add to the excitement and frequent these waters all year. Giant yellow fin tuna, dorado, rooster fish, snapper, and wahoo will round out your angling experience.
ATV Quad Adventure
Ride Honda ATVs to see waterfalls and natural springs located in the unique rain forest ecosystem. The tour winds through a maze of muddy country roads past teak, rice, papaya & palm plantations & through traditional Costa Rican villages until it enters the unique rain forest ecosystem. Here you will disembark from your ATV and make a short hike into the primary and secondary rainforest in search of wild jungle creatures. During the hike you will pass over hanging bridges with spectacular views of the river. At the end of the trail, you will take a much needed refreshing dip in the natural waterfall pools. With a little bit of luck and Pura Vida, you may see Titi monkeys, toucans, sloths, various types of tropical birds, and gigantic Blue Morpho butterflies, among many other types of flora and fauna. After your refreshing dip and relaxing hike, it’s back to the ATVs to get dirty all over again.
